Predictions?????

To be honest, I don't really see Arsenal winning the league any time soon (erm, who the hell does?!). The fight we showed against Everton to draw the match was, of course, promising, but ultimately the fact we had to do so to begin with was worrying. A strike force of Sanogo and Giroud is not only not good enough, but is probably not deserving enough for the title. Sanchez, despite his ghost like performance up top on the day, will come good with time. Still, it goes without saying that the team need not only a proper striker of PREMIER quality (this is the Premier League isn't it?), but another centre-back who is willing to play catch up to the regular two of Merty and Kos-boss (crickets.....) because when it comes to injuries, no team quite does it like Arsenal.

Manchester City are my favourites to make it three in four years. Ordinarily, I wouldn't mind this if it weren't for Mr.Fish-face having another feel of the holy grail. Then I just feel uncomfortable (Remember lads, greed IS good). They just look so assured with a perfect balance in midfield (never mind their ridiculous frontline; spare us a striker please?) that Arsenal simply can not emulate. Yaya himself could probably (no, definitely) hold off two Jack Wilshere's snapping at him. I don't want to go into detail now about it, but as they say, THAT'S WHY (they're) CHAMPIONS!

OK, now quickly:

Chelsea: Mourinho himself is a good enough reason as to why Chelsea may win the league. His defensive counter-based style away to the big boys certainly has it's critics, but was effective as they were the ONLY team in the league to take all three points from the Etihad. Mighty impressive considering city rivals Arsenal and Tottenham got whacked 6-3 and 6-0 there respectively (and for good measure, Norwich lost there 7-0). Add to that new signings in Brazilian pseudo-Spaniard Costa and plain old regular Spaniard Fabregas (nope, not hurt) and you have a legitimate threat that hopefully will fizz out of contention quickly (hopefully....)

Liverpool: Don't know. Really depends on how quickly new signings bed in (nine so far). Suarez will obviously be a big loss but they will hope that they didn't do a 'Tottenham' with his transfer fee and splurge it on wastes of space not fit to wear the famous red never mind the colour itself.

The race of the top four will certainly be very tight, but with the season so young, it is impossible to tell what will occur at this stage....
